The purpose of CWJCsm, a non-profit organization, is to provide a Christian context in which women are equipped for life and employment. The program is designed for a classroom model with one on one mentoring where women help women. The classes are customized to meet the needs of the participants. 


CWJCSETX has two sites. (Choose Silsbee or choose Jasper)


Ø CWJC Silsbee, 270 Hwy 96 South Silsbee, Texas 77656  

Ø CWJC Jasper, located on the grounds Hillcrest Baptist Church. Jasper, Texas 77659

  What makes CWJCsm different from other job-readiness programs?

Ø Each participant is involved in Bible study

Ø Each participant is matched with a trained Christian woman for one on one mentoring

Ø Free …. There is no cost involved for the participant

Interested Volunteers are very special people and are crucial to the success of the program.  They provide encouragement, instruction, refreshments and other needs.  CWJCsm appreciates every church that gives an offering, provides gift bags, prays or volunteers in any way.  For a participant application or information about volunteering for Silsbee or Jasper, call Joy Martindale in Silsbee at 409-373-4431 or 409-504-9174 or call the appropriate Site Coordinator specified on each website.

Classes offered will prepare women for the workplace, and offer Computer courses. These classes are for women who want more out of life than just a job; need to improve their job skills; seeking opportunity to a better life for themselves and their family; and want a life changing experience giving confidence, acceptance, self-respect, self-sufficiency and hope.

Speak up - Be an advocate for CWJCsm participants.  Make sure influential persons in your community know their needs and good, sound, realistic solutions.
